Summary
Miraculously, all three of them manage to reach their destination at the exact same time. They double-take briefly at the remarkable coincidence. Then one of them starts laughing, which sets off the other two, and they end up lingering there for a moment on the sidewalk, giggling like idiots.
Tenn is the first person to move, dodging around Gaku and Ryuu and heading down the stone steps into the Deep River bar. Gaku and Ryuu are still laughing as they follow him.

Trigger have made it a point to revisit the Deep River Bar every year together on the anniversary of their first meeting, as a little personal tradition.
This time around, they have a bit more to reflect on. -

When you agree, it is fun, at first.
You close your eyes to protect them from the rushing wind. When you open them again, the ground is gone. There is no down. There is only sky, and you are falling. Beside you he laughs, bright and joyous and childlike, though it can hardly be heard over your screams. His arrows are pointed up, wherever that is.
As he cannonballs past you for the 3rd, 8th, 19th, 76th time he says that ‘fear is what makes it fun’. His ‘woops’ cover your sobs.

Summary
Four words. Four little words. Four words that should never be in a sentence together. Those four words were all it took for Haruka's world to crumble.
This couldn't be true. Surely his ears had betrayed him. He waited for Makoto to smile and say ''just kidding!'' but it didn't happen. Of course it didn't happen. Who would joke about something like this? But at that moment, Haruka would've done anything to make those words a lie.
When Makoto gets sick, Haruka feels the need upon himself to become his strength.
