Summary
In their small town in the valley, it’s easy for any news to spread like wildfire. So within a day of it being decided, the entire town knows that Kita Osamu’s brother is staying in their quiet valley because he is being forced to take a break from whatever fancy sport he was playing in the world beyond the valley.Hinata Shoyo does not care about anything other than the fact that he thinks their chickens may be a little overworked from the Egg Festival. At least he doesn’t care until he sees a man with starlight hair scowling at him on a dirt road.

Summary
Like most things in his life, this particular chain of events happens because of an argument with Osamu.
“Who was that guy you were talking to at lunch?” Osamu hums, taking in Atsmu’s posture and face, and then he blinks at him in the slow way that means Osamu’s trying to recall something or just plain bored with whatever is being said.
He blinks once, twice, then he smirks.
“Shouyou-kun, my friend,” Osamu says the word with enough emphasis that it sounds sleazy, “Why you asking, Tsum-tsum?”
(In which Atsumu meets Hinata Shouyou, the first friend Osamu has ever made without him, and thinks the future looks brighter.)

'Shouyou-kun,' The penmanship is steady and sharp, similar to the way Atsumu's gaze dragged across Shouyou from the doorway yesterday. 'Good luck today. I’ll see if I can stop by and watch.'
Face red with something he refuses to acknowledge, Shouyou turns into his pillows and screams.
(Or the one where Hinata Shouyou is an Olympic Gymnast who shares his dorm room with Olympic Volleyball Player Miya Atsumu, and they exchange sticky notes)

Summary
At his mother’s insistence, Atsumu keeps a dream journal. The journal is a tired, old thing, worn with age. It’s not his first journal, but one of many that are kept cramped in the drawer at his desk. Every morning, when the dreams are freshest, when he can still see them in the forefront of his mind, he writes. On crinkled pages, he writes of thrashing green rivers, he writes of being cold in hot deserts, he writes of taking bites out of clouds and tasting nothing.
And eventually, he writes of Shouyou.

Summary
He stops by the island counter for a cup of highlighter-neon punch, shoves a handful of chips into his mouth, and looks around: for his next prey. If he can’t find Jisung, so be it. He’ll make the most of it — he’s going to get laid tonight.
Frankly, he needs it. He’s keyed up from the stress of submissions and finals, and he definitely needs a lay to take his mind off of it. Relax a little, just for tonight.

Summary
Hyunjin baulks. Had his roommates been killed and replaced by clones of themselves? Is that what was going on? Since when did they talk like this, especially with each other? What happened to cuddling being gross?
The two of them keep talking, quieter than before. Hyunjin’s mind is whirring at a hundred miles per hour. He’s playing back every interaction he’s seen between the two recently, trying to figure out when exactly Minho had gone from threatening to poke Seungmin’s eyes out with used chopsticks to sharing a bed with him of his own free will.
Or: Minho and Seungmin think they’re doing a good job of hiding their relationship from their members. The members in question would beg to differ.

Summary
Jisung says he’s been Seungmin’s fan since the survival show. He watched it with his cousin who is apparently obsessed with Hyunjin and got more invested than he thought he would or could. He’s never followed idols before, but Seungmin feels different. Special to him. Jisung writes that he’s kind of embarrassed to admit it, but he feels like he can say it to Seungmin. He talks about how much he admires Seungmin’s voice and all of the effort and time he puts into it, how he crafts himself to fit every song no matter the style or concept or topic and it’s… a lot. A lot of praise. Far more than Seungmin has heard lately. Enough he feels himself light up bright red, curling up into a ball on the couch when Chan joyously teases him. Seungmin hears him say something about the fangirls having lots to say about their puppy, but Seungmin remains tight lipped. Jisung feels as special to Seungmin as he might to him.
Or; ever since Seungmin debuted, he's received consistent letters from his first ever fan Jisung.
