Wooyoung's not quite fond of San right now. That much, Wooyoung made clear from the moment Yeosang’s pregnancy test came back positive and San was suddenly nowhere to be found. The months of radio silence, of ultrasounds and follow-ups and making preparations to actually raise a baby, San’s baby, all without San’s input, has done more damage than either of them would like to admit.
I’ll raise the pup with you, Wooyoung promised months ago, when became more and more apparent that Yeosang would have to do this alone. I’ll be here for you every step of the way, no matter what.
Except Yeosang doesn’t know where Wooyoung stands on his offer now that San is back.

Summary
Subconsciously, Yeosang rests a hand on his middle. His morning sickness has been a lot worse than it had been when he was pregnant with Yeseul. According to Wooyoung, he’s only about eight weeks along—not even properly showing yet—but lately his insides have felt like they’re churning, turning themselves inside out in an effort to make Yeosang feel as uncomfortable as possible. It’s a horrible feeling, experiencing such intense discomfort in a near-unfamiliar place. He really hates it.
At least he has the pack to help soothe his instincts. And San.

San understands why they have to leave. They must leave before the war gets to them. They need to go so they’re not found to protect themselves, to protect their pack, to protect their pups from harm. It’s too dangerous to stay any longer.
He snaps the reins, forcing their horse to start walking, and then they’re leaving, heading far away from the only place he’s ever truly called home.
"This feels just like the first time we left," Yeosang whispers, and San can’t agree more. The memories of leaving the palace resurface all too easily.
San's pack is forced to run again. It reminds him too much of the first time he and Yeosang chose to leave their past behind.
