Summary
In the battle at D’Qar Poe Dameron played General Hux for a fool, utterly destroying that one’s reputation. In the year to follow his secret feud with Kylo Ren distracted Hux from his loathing for Poe, but when the traitor and the rebel meet again in a prison cell on the Steadfast, the wound opens up again.
Chief Intelligence Officer Kandia jumps to the opportunity to play the men out against each other to eventually break Poe Dameron. But then a new plan is hatched: What if instead of milking him for information, Kandia could turn the Resistance’s ace pilot to the First Order’s cause? Having nothing to lose, Hux is more than willing to help with that.
With Kylo Ren dead and Dameron enthusiastically working on crushing the Resistance, finally things seem to go Hux’ way.
