“I’m going to befriend Kim Seungmin,” Minho declares when he sees Jisung and Jeongin playing Exploding Snap near the window.
Jisung pinches a card so hard it blows up in his hands. Jeongin sighs and buries his face in his palms.
or: Arrogant Slytherin Kim Seungmin is two grades higher than he should be, and Minho isn't happy with that. His solution? Fraternise with, then backstab the enemy. But... he doesn't think falling in love was part of the plan.

Minho suppresses a sigh. Calculatively, he makes a move. “I have a deal to make with you.”
The boy folds his arms. “Shoot.”
Minho leans forward, looking the boy in the eye. “If you can get me off this planet, and back to my homeworld safely-” he feels around his finger, grasping a single ring, and elegantly pulls it off. The design is basic, with a simple pattern carved into the top, but the material itself is the showstopper, with miniature galaxies and subsize supernovas exploding within its core. The boy’s eyes widen as they register the iridescent sheen of a substance so precious wars have been fought over it. Exactly the reaction Minho is digging for.
“-you can be a rich man,” Minho completes with utmost confidence.
Or: Minho is on the run. Somehow, he ends up in the cargo bay of the Broken Compass, way out of his element. Amongst the danger he has to keep at bay, and the secrets he has to guard, the loud, endearingly genuine boy that throws his senses into a disarray isn't helping at all.

The yell rings into empty silence. Minho exhales deeply through his nose. Surprisingly, even though his professor isn't there for him to personally deck, he still feels like a huge weight has been lifted from his chest. Relieved through means of cathartic screaming, Minho turns back to his work, ready to start tackling more theory-
"You talking to me?"
or: Minho yells at his smoking neighbour below his balcony one day, and finds himself in a standoff, with absolutely no sexual tension involved whatsoever.

“Summon me a guardian angel? I don’t need a guardian!” Yeonjun thought back to the day when he almost got kidnapped, and the day he avoided getting stabbed with just a few centimeters, and added, “okay maybe I do need a guardian, but is it really necessary resorting to magic?”
“Do you have any other idea?” Taehyun asked.
Well, no but Yeonjun was not gonna say that.

Yeonjun doesn’t know how he gets into strange situations all the time - it just happens. He doesn’t mean to get lured into cults and accidentally arrested every other week, or to make his friends have to bail him out all the time. It gets so bad that eventually, his friends get fed up with his bad luck, and in fear for his safety they decide to summon him a guardian angel.
Only, they mess up the spell a little bit, and suddenly Yeonjun is stuck with a demon tied to his side for a month.

Sunghoon licked his lips, gaze flickering down for half a second. “Sunoo-ya, are you going to finish that sentence, or are you too busy thinking about kissing me?”
Sunoo sucked in a sharp breath. “Excuse me?”
Sunghoon raised an eyebrow, smirk deepening. “I mean, if you’re gonna keep staring at my lips like that, we might as well skip the arguing and get to the good part.”
Sunoo felt his face heat up. He was not staring. He wasn’t.
…Okay, maybe he was.
Or alternatively, Sunoo is kind of fed-up with this push-and-pull he has with Sunghoon. One night in their practice room alone changes everything.
