Summary
It wasn’t unusual for Kayn and Ezreal to poke fun at each other. If anything, it would be strange if they didn’t. Which is why, after a spur of the moment kiss, the shift in their relationship is so much stranger.
With Kayn spending so much more of his time in Ezreal’s room, the two of them simply existing together, it becomes clear that their bickering had never been as black and white as Ezreal had always thought. There was something so much deeper that he was beginning to notice. And he didn’t quite mind it.

He rounds the corner to see a stranger playing with the dog. A blonde man in a leather bomber jacket and jeans. Kayn stiffens in alarm. How did he get in? Why didn’t Ernest react? Where is Ezreal-?!
“Kayn!” the stranger looks up, blinking blue eyes and wearing Ezreal’s face, “You’re finally up.”
Kayn frowns, adrenaline forcing him more awake by the second, “Who are you?”
The fake stands up and gestures to himself with his thumb, all cocky arrogance and charm.
“I’m your boyfriend. From another world. I came to see you!”

Ezreal could take Kayn. Maybe not in a fight, but he could take him. He shakes his head again, but waggles his finger at Sett, thinking. “Let me try something.”
