Summary
Despite telling herself to let it go, Almedha finds herself on her way to the Greil Mercenaries' fort to speak to Soren. His reluctance to meet with her doesn't go unnoticed, but they trudge on and she reveals the truth about his heritage. Soren's disbelief is firm, and he feels there's no way she can prove it to be true, despite all the signs he himself has noticed but refuses to acknowledge. After all, Almedha had a son. While Soren's always been sure of himself, it doesn't change the fact that he wasn't born that way. What could Almedha say to possibly prove he truly is Daein's lost prince?

Summary
When Soren is abandoned at sea, he's fighting the will of the water, struggling to keep himself going. His life has never been perfect--far from it, in fact--and he's forced to reflect on whether or not it's worth fighting for. He's never fit in on the land, and it's becoming harder to keep himself afloat. Resigned to his fate, everything changes when he's approached by a curious merfolk named Ike, who is determined to help him out. The more time Soren spends with him, the more he's forced to rethink his worldview, and the more he finds himself growing fond of the boy. Their bond deepens, and their feelings for one another do as well. But they're from different worlds, how can these feelings ever be realised?

Summary
It was one thing for Soren to come to bed late, or to occasionally overwork himself, but to have him fall asleep and wake up in the office and act like nothing had happened was another. Ike could see the physical signs of the exhaustion that had overtaken his partner and it pained him to watch him tiredly wander through the fort and down to the mess hall for the most caffeinated thing he could get his hands on.
Business for the Greil Mercenaries couldn't be better, but their staff officer certainly could be. With the increase in clients and tasks to do, Soren's been working himself to the bone, but that doesn't sit well with Ike, who takes it upon himself to make sure Soren takes some time to rest.

Summary
Titania's perception and compassion have extended to any and all who have come into the Greil Mercenaries' care - be it those they have helped, or those they have employed. Her kindness is easy and calming, and proves to be a true light in the dark that comes with the loss of their founding commander. With the family she's found working their way through his loss and into a war, it's all she can do to maintain what's left.
