Summary
Daken has accepted a sanctuary agreement and is living at the Xavier Institute and hopefully being rehabilitated. But interpersonal drama is running high, and tempers are running short, as tension, frustration and arguments between himself and Bobby become a constant backdrop. With a little more effort to communicate that starts to change, but is there a little too much baggage to make this journey?
Not always in order but all the same narrative. This is a slow-burn with plenty of angst.

He coughs a little and adjusts his head on his arms. Giorno doesn't make a move to leave, just stays on his back next to Fugo with his eyes closed. He's so fucking pretty-- his mascara-dark eyelashes sweep dark across his cheeks, the mascara a little dusty after hours of wear; his strange wild hair curls golden around his ears and neck; his mouth is open just a little, in the way that happens when you relax your jaw all the way. Even the subtle line of his nose knocks Fugo the fuck out. He could easily look at Giorno all day, eating and drinking replaced by memorizing the way his throat disappears into the collar of his soft pajama shirt.

Tsukishima didn’t look up from his butchery. “I wouldn’t trust you to notice an arrow in your back,” he said flatly, “or the King to pay any mind to your wellbeing at all.”
Tell him to shut the hell up, Kageyama advised, and to stop calling me that.“That’s dumb,” Hinata said instead. “Of course Kageyama cares about my wellbeing.” Right?
Wrong, Kageyama said immediately.
Hinata gaped at nothing, wounded.
Tsukishima looked over at him and raised an eyebrow, the corner of his mouth lifted in a smirk. “He said no, didn’t he.”
“Shut up,” Hinata said, trying not to pout. He knelt to dress his kill. Jerk, he said to Kageyama, who was still too busy being smug and pissed at Tsukishima by turns to pay him any mind. What good’s an AI that doesn’t even have my back?
