“You can’t tell anyone,” Maddie suddenly becomes so serious Buck feels like he has whiplash.
He blinks a few times, brow furrowed, “Well, yeah I know that.”
“No, Buck,” Maddie leans forward covering his hand with her own, “I mean it. No one else is allowed to know about this.”
Buck opens his mouth, but Maddie reads him like the traitorous sister that she is and cuts him off by saying, “That includes Eddie.”
“Maddie,” Buck whines, and he’s very well aware at how pathetic it sounds, “that’s not fair! It’s — he’s — it’s Eddie!”
[or Maddie wants to propose to Chimney. She gets Buck involved. Buck can't tell anyone. He somehow proposes to Eddie instead.]

“It didn’t mean anything! I swear!” The random man Eddie has never seen before cries suddenly, somewhat stilted, looking directly at Eddie. “Please take me back!”
Eddie has no fucking idea what’s happening. It’s like he had a stroke and woke up in the middle of a telenovela.
Or, Buck needs a fake boyfriend. Eddie loses his mind and offers to play the part.

And Bobby, he wasn’t proud of it, but the word ‘finally’ was flashing in front of his eyes in giant, neon yellow letters, because surely, surely this meant that he’d figured it out. "Buck," Eddie tests the name out. Buck. He likes that name. It sounds good, warm and safe and comfortingly familiar on his tongue. "You're my husband."
Buck's eyes widen, obviously surprised that Eddie remembered that. See, look? He's recovering remarkably quickly. He'll have his full memory back in no time.
"Your husband," Buck repeats and Chris, for some reason, starts giggling.
"My husband," Eddie agrees happily.
