Summary
Desperate to stop the mysterious thief from disappearing with the Element of Magic, Twilight made a split-second decision to use an all-purpose redirection spell she had been developing on the mirror said thief was diving towards. Untested spells, overpowered alicorn magic, and multiple ancient magical artifacts do not mesh well. Now trapped in an unfamiliar world with the Mirror shattering behind them, Twilight and Sunset, along with Spike, must overcome their differences and work together if they ever wish to return to Equestria. It shouldn’t be too hard. After all, the place they landed in is literally called Dreamland. It’s not like anything could go wrong here, right?

Heavily inspired by Lucar’s A Sweetie Dreamland over on FiMFiction, but with a different take on how MLP characters would react to the absurdity that is the Kirby multiverse, focusing less on the adventures and more on the characters themselves.

V is adrift.
The guilt from a myriad unspoken apologies rests an immovable weight upon her shoulders. Her indulgence in escapism provides only transient relief from her inability to mend what she broke. And through it all, the longing for a simple change stays perpetually in her mind; something so minor that it doesn't justify the space it occupies in her drives.
But that change, as simple as it is, carries consequences for everyone she knows.

Kris is conflicted.
They know they need sleep for the festival tomorrow, and to continue the plan. But with Susie sounding so uncertain after getting their mother to quiet down, only the reminder of their promise stops them from jumping out the window to follow her.
It's in the midst of this internal debate, Kris hears the soul tapping rhythmically on the bars of it's cage.
Kris knows what that tapping means.
