Summary
It felt liberating to be out here in the sun, in a courtyard utterly empty but for the two of them. No sneers or murmurings from unfriendly knights, no monks lurking around him in the hopes of catching him out doing something untoward. It was only him and Petra and the endless sky, and for a moment it felt as though they weren’t at Garreg Mach at all, but somewhere kinder, with softer edges and a brighter sun.
Dedue struggles to hold on to the past he holds so dear while carving out a space for himself in a new land. With the help of friends, the color gradually returns to his world.

You can’t speak just yet to whether time—and age? experience? not that war or rulership have given you much of the latter, at least in the area of gardening—has made your thumbs any less brown, but the house in the Oghma Mountains is surrounded by so many growing things it hardly seems to matter. It sits at the edge of a forest, on the gentle lower slopes, and the people in the nearest town had all smiled to speak of it when they pointed the way for Hubert, the day you arrived. A number of them were old enough to remember what it had been like, years ago, in the warm and golden before, and to insist that it had not changed in the ways that mattered. It was still full of light. The air still smelled green.
In which Edelgard keeps a garden, Hubert learns to fly, and those they leave behind refuse to be left behind.

Emperor Edelgard von Hresvelg and the Black Eagle Strike Force engage with the Faerghan army, led by King Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd, in the Tailtean Plains.
Members of prominent houses from Adrestia, Faerghus, and the Leicester Alliance participated in the battle, the second to last before the War of Unification was brought to an end and the entirety of Fodlan fell under the rule of the Adrestian Empire. Historians view the battle as a pivotal turning point in the war, all but solidifying Adrestia’s victory and emboldening the Adrestian soldiers before their final battle against The Church of Seiros in Fhirdiad.His name was Dedue Molinaro.

A sweet meditation on history and what we leave behind and might want to reclaim, in a future far beyond a Crimson Flower route that did make the world better, at a cost. Felix hasn’t seen Sylvain in eleven months, not that he’s counting, but he’d still recognize him anywhere. He always did take up all the air in any room. Now he’s doing it even outdoors. Felix can’t breathe.
He counts to five. He remembers how to inhale and exhale. He abandons his bags and stalks over so that his shadow falls over Sylvain, folding his arms over his chest.
“You don’t go to this school,” Felix says accusingly, by way of hello.
