Everything’s peachy until Quistis picks a lousy boyfriend who keeps letting her down. Somewhere between the guy humiliating her publicly and ditching her downtown at night, Seifer realizes he’s in love with her.
He handles it as well as you’d expect.

Summary
The pain comes and goes, ebbing on the waves of the curative spells Dr. Kadowaki regularly throws at him. Sleep still eludes him, but at least he can move, now, and there’s no damage to his legs. His left arm, though, feels like lead, and Dr. Kadowaki, after properly berating him for being so reckless and wondering for the umpteenth time what should she do with him, has told him he won’t be able to use the gunblade for a few months. The brace he’s wearing on his left shoulder is uncomfortable and slightly itchy, but shifting is painful even with painkiller spells and medicine, and Dr. K has only grunted “Good, so it will get through that thick head of yours” when he told her that, so yeah, he just has to endure it.
