“I think you should know that I literally don’t remember anything.” The officer says.
He’s kidding. You think. Or at least exaggerating. He can’t really have forgotten everything in the world. He’s just hungover.
Then you both spend an unnecessarily long time speaking with the wheelchair-bound woman next to the broken pinball (ugh) machine, during which the she explains basic geography. You are too good at your job not to realize that everything she’s saying is genuinely new information to the man standing next to you.
