Summary
Javi doesn’t wake up feeling like the world is going to end, or change, or crumble beneath his feet. He doesn’t have a pit in his stomach, something burning in his bones telling him to runrunrun. He wakes up to the sound of a thunk and somebody cursing. This was why he hated motels, their paper-thin walls.

Childe’s exit from the Primordial Sea after being hurled through the dimensional rift brings him on a small detour, and he comes face to face with someone who looks…a lot like Master Skirk.
(In which Jingliu and Skirk look SO ALIKE that I impulsively wrote a fic on that single premise.)Aka Childe interacts with the Astral Express, the Xianzhou Luofu cast, and check ins on Teyvat (every 18 ish chapters). He participates in a few companion quests ranging from Kafka’s to Jingliu’s. Watch him comprehend the power scaling in the Star Rail verse, getting himself into trouble, figure out how to return to Teyvat, and other shenanigans (if you ever wondered what would happen if Blade met Childe, this is the fic for you). Oh and he impulsively ate the Lightless eye of the Maelstrom? (Wait- Didn't that mean he just ate the Narwhal?)
