Summary
In the wake of a family disaster (disaster family) which could've been far worse, the sisters Jinx (or is it Powder?) and Violet have to pick up the pieces, battling neuroses and psychosis and deal with grief and questions of identity and loyalty all while a Noxian army threatens their home on one side and the ever present threat of Piltover's negligence and disregard looms on the other. Of course, one of them has some ideas about all of that.
Or: Vi saves Isha in the commune but at great personal loss. Vander's death and Vi's and Isha's near deaths drive Jinx into a mental health emergency during which she confronts her identity crisis. In the days that follow the sisters try to put their family and lives together and safeguard their city - Zaun. Powder and Vi work overtime to deal with Piltover AND the war against Ambessa and Viktor.

This story tries to explore what the show didn’t have time to.
It focuses on the scenes that were never shown and gives more space to everything these characters carry. Not to rewrite who they are, but to dig deeper into what was already there.
It follows an alternate version of Arcane, where Vi’s trauma rises to the surface, Jinx struggles with her confusion, and Caitlyn confronting both her anger toward Jinx and her feelings for Vi. And then what happens when those worlds collide.
This version also gives Vi the focus she never got in S2. It follows her more closely, not just as a fighter or a sister, but as someone still dealing with everything left unresolved.
This is a new timeline shaped by a single event that will change all of them forever.
Why does anyone commit acts others deem unspeakable? For love.

Summary
After finally getting her chance to be a hero, Jinx sacrifices herself for her beloved big sister, fully expecting to die. The universe has other plans for her, however, and the blast of Hextech from her final bomb traps her in time, leaving her alone and unconscious in the Hexgates ventilation system. With no reason to assume otherwise, Vi and Ekko grieve Jinx’s death and learn to live their lives without her.
Three years after the tragedy, Ekko returns to the Hexgates and once again, their lives are flipped upside down when he discovers Jinx alive, but unconscious in the vents.
