Summary
Drive and passion doesn’t make up for a lack of quirk. The world keeps spinning, and Izuku keeps feeling too much — so much so, that he can’t help himself when he sees Bakugou in a mess that Izuku himself created. His body moves on its own, and it’s no surprise when he emerges as a limp, lifeless corpse.
However, death seems to pity him. It gifts him a second chance, and grants him a unique power along with it. It surely cannot be called a quirk — but whatever it is, it promises to guide him to become a true hero, and Izuku cannot bring himself to decline.

Summary
Monsters. Blood. Anguish. Izuku's grown accustomed to his abnormal lifestyle. Cursed with the weight of the world from a young age, he comes face to face with all sorts of beasts and torture, and somehow survives, albeit through the skin of his teeth. As he grows older, the trials life puts him through only worsen, and so does his mind. After all, to survive is to adapt.
Hanging onto his childhood dreams, he chases the vindication of being a hero, willing to do anything to help others. Eventually, he begins to notice that maybe the world isn't so black and white. Maybe, it's all just shades and hues of grey fused together. Maybe, he only has one purpose in his life.

Kidnapped and subjected to experimentation, torture, and horrors beyond comprehension, Izuku and Aizawa only have each other.
