Summary
Some of the bribes he accepted. Some he did not. It really depended on the HR Violation scale that had been long since pushed to it's limit by this ridiculous ensemble of a team he called his own.
"Ten minutes."
He raised a single eyebrow up at him. "Of?…"
"Holding you." Sonar said bluntly, shifting from one foot to the next as his ear flicked.

Summary
“Just wanted to check on you.”
Sonar stares into the ceiling. “I'm managing,” he says. “I'm occupying myself with heavy, philosophical thinking so I don't give into the urge to bash my head in with a rock.”
It's true. He's antsy. He has been, for this past week. He wishes he could get back to work as soon as he can, regain that sense of normalcy he foolishly gambled away. But there's been so, so many foreign things he's snorted or rubbed in his gums during his stay with the Red Ring that leave him a husk today. A snake with skin that refuses to shed.
Or, Sonar, after rejoining the Z-Team. An exploration of compulsions, control, love, presence, and the stock market.

Summary
The thing was, Robert never shot him down. Sure, he was their boss, it made sense that he’d be at least professionally polite to them—but this was not a normal working environment. He was in charge of a team of partially-reformed supervillains. The dispatchers weren’t supposed to be nice to them! They weren’t supposed to… to tell them they did a good job, or give them pep talks, or… talk to them like a person, when everyone else treated them like an asset at best and a dubiously-defused bomb at worst.
~OR~
Sonar asks Robert out.

Summary
After an especially shitty shift, Sonar is just trying to get through his final mission of the night. But something goes terribly wrong, and he's backed into a corner. As the panic and stress of the day overwhelm him, the creature inside of him lets loose, burying the logical reasoning with violent, animalistic instinct.
There's only one person, a certain demon lady, experienced enough with Sonar's crashes to help him out of them. To help him come back to himself, to come home.

Summary
Sonar gets hurt on the job, and Robert feels pretty guilty about it (was kinda his fault tbf).
Wanting to make up for it, Robert decides to patch and clean up Sonar, making a few interesting discoveries about the quirks that come with being a bat-hybrid along the way.
