    “I want my last night to be special.” Now she looked up at him. Her eyes were even darker in the moonlight. Silver orbs in an sea of white. “I want to spend it with you.”
    If he wasn’t fully awake before, he certainly was now. “With me? Why not Armin, or Connie, or—”
    “Or Eren?” Now Mikasa was the one finishing his sentences. “He’s not here. And even if he was…” She brought her face to his. “I’d still want to spend my last night alive with you.”

    “Shouldn’t we get to know each other first? There’s a possibility you’ll be the father of my child, after all.” Her cheeks had flushed at this last part, though they shouldn’t have, as there wasn’t anything even remotely sexy about artificial insemination. Perhaps her assigned donor’s attractiveness was to blame for her blushing, as she had originally presumed that all sperm donors were ugly, overweight men, the kind of men she'd kick in the balls if they looked anywhere but at her face.

    Or, the one where Jean is Mikasa's sperm donor.

    Update 12/31/2020: I've fixed some of the language so it matches my current writing style as well as added some stuff (most notably a sex scene ;) ) and changed the title because why not.
