Uggghhhh okay. Was debating on if I bookmark but my curiosity of where it left off won me over!! Not that well written, a lot of extra unnecessary details that don’t contribute to mood/tone/character so honestly had to skim some bits to speed it up. BUT did have some good yearning that I think makes it worth it!! Was almost gonna put down but BAM Johnny got arrested, really great turn. Lovveeee a sad licked puppy angle ALWAYS, the pride, resentment, insecurity, I eat that shit uppppp!! And now BOOO him leaving, the loss, the abandonment!! 😭 so I wanna see what happens!! lol

Omggg obsessed with this already!! Captures delicate longing so well, ghost is the ultimate “I want to cut you open and live in your ribcage” (or vice versa) and I am LOVING IT!! Lots of heart pains, good to know mine’s still beating!!ghost storming out the bar and soap trailing after him hurts both me and soap and I love that. OH MYY GOODDDD!!! We are SO BACK!!! This was so good omg, the tension and longing, the power dynamics 🤤🤤 this is exactly what i needed after a long time off COD. Age gap ghoap will always hit!!! Honestly it could have been even pervy-er!!
Sort of a neutered sex scene fade to black but… I’ll take it! Does not diminish how wonderful the rest of it felt. Slow romantic build was really nice, tantalizing enough to have me desperate to goof off work and read instead. Their relationship by the end felt really warm and satisfying
…SOOOO curious about the author for a few things LOL always interesting when you can tell someone is American?? By their use of the imperial system with feet and inches… but then it got switched to meters later… and some spelling moments (johnnie?!) and also the gender of the therapist switching midway through… curious LOL (yanno what, just saw it was I originally in Russian?? So that checks out, god bless!)
