Summary
Suguru clears his throat, puts down his notes, and explains, “Satoru doesn’t date.”
And that stings a little. It hurts. Because it means that Suguru’s noticed he’s never really gone out with anyone before, that he’s very much aware of Satoru’s lack of experience here. He’s noticed and done nothing about it, which -
“Well, gotta start some time, yeah?” Satoru jokes, covering up his discomfort with a laugh he hopes doesn’t sound too fake. “Better late than never.”
Shoko laughs, waving a hand at him as she goes back to her textbook - which is more or less what Satoru expects, very much used to her casual indifference to his antics at this point in their continued association.
What he doesn’t expect is the way that Suguru freezes; he is entirely unprepared for the way that Suguru goes very, very still, those warm brown eyes that Satoru loves so much going dark with what he thinks is dismay.
“Are you… are you serious?” he asks, his voice small. “You have a date?”
Satoru blinks. “Um, yeah.”
“With who?”
Satoru makes an assumption about Suguru and Shoko's relationship. Things get very messy, very fast.

Summary
To Satoru’s delight, they were in the same class and Satoru decided as soon as he saw the other boy in the classroom that he wanted him as his first friend. He went out of his way to talk to Suguru every day and tried to meet him by chance. He’d go to shower at the same time, go into the kitchen to eat at the same time, and step out of his room when he heard Suguru’s door. Initially, Suguru responded politely and reservedly, seemingly not interested in being friends. But Satoru refused to give up.
—Satoru has a lot of feelings about Suguru. That's just friendship, right? Suguru is his first friend and his best friend. So these feelings and desires are just due to friendship. As Satoru and Suguru go from first years at Jujutsu High to adulthood, they learn to be sorcerers, friends, and how to love each other.

Suguru takes a step back, lips pulling over his canines. “Are you sure about that?”
Satoru hums the affirmative and blindly reaches behind himself to drop the wine opener near Suguru’s feet. He slowly settles on his haunches, holding the heated eye contact, leaning forward just enough to drag his cheek against Suguru’s hardness.
And this is a pivotal point in the game, as well: with Satoru pushing Suguru’s buttons at any opportunity that presents itself.
Satoru bats his eyelashes, nuzzling his erection, devoid of any restraint or shame. “I’m positive, baby.”
Satoru and Suguru want to fuck each other, but both parties hold themselves back from doing so. Who will break first?
