When Nanako got home from work, her son was asleep on the living room sofa. This wasn’t particularly unusual, as Langa was known to nap occasionally, sometimes in odd places. The unusual part was the boy lying underneath him, gently combing his fingers through Langa’s hair as Langa buried his nose in the boy’s t-shirt. The boy had a fond expression on his face, a small smile resting on his lips.
Or, Nanako finally meets Reki and she can't stop smiling.

Miya is torn between gagging and laughing his damn ass off at the wide-eyed look on Reki’s face as he turns red enough to match his hair. Reki half-sputters, half-chokes, “A-are you being serious right now?”
Langa nods eagerly, his turquoise eyes shining, “You’re exquisite! Like… like one of those paintings that they hang in a gallery for people to stare at.” He pauses, adopting an expression of wonder. “Or maybe something’s just wrong with my eyes, because I can’t seem to take them off of you.”

It takes a long second for Reki to answer. When he finally does, Langa feels the world slow to a stop around them. “Well, the thing is... my soulmate is always writing on their arm. But they’re always writing in English, so I don’t know what it says. I was hoping you might translate it for me?”
