Percy frowned, that made sense, but, what kind of company he didn't expect? Maybe gods? Or his parents?
“What is your answer, Child?”
The smell of old, thread and forgotten got stronger as Percy thought.
“I accept this quest” And his vision turned black.

Summary
Though the fires in Tanjirou, Inosuke, and Zenitsu’s hearts have been lit by the strength of the Flame Hashira’s words, the gravity of the mission leaves them flickering.
Little by little, the trio gathers the kindling to build each other up. Their flames grow to something that’s not quite a blaze, but as long as they’re together, it’s enough to keep warm.

How amazing he was when in action.
Too bad he can’t remember any of it.
Or, Zenitsu doesn’t remember any of the fights he gets into when he’s asleep, and having gaps in his memory does nothing but scare and frustrate him.

The Hashira let out a deep groan that went almost unheard under all of Tanjiro’s cries.
“Almost--”
Zenitsu was blushing all the way to his ears. Nope, nope, nope. He had to get out of here now. He didn’t want to hear *any* of this.
He scurried to the end of the hall, trying to not scream in panic that his nicest and most wholesome friend was getting his brains fucked out. By a much older and stronger demon slayer, no less-- a fucking Hashira.(AKA the fic on how Tanjiro and Giyu started hooking up, and how everyone found out. Featuring a completely innocent type of concentrated breathing training I made up for p l o t )
