Immediately, Keith narrowed his eyes, sitting up. “My brother and I have been playing this game since we were kids. I’m not scared.” And that right there – the set of Keith’s jaw, the fiery glint in his eyes, the sharpness in his tone – is how Lance knew he had him. He felt a twinge of satisfaction. Keith was so predictable.
“Prove it, then,” he challenged, standing and placing a hand on his hip. “Let’s call it a bet.”
Keith looked skeptical. “With what stakes?”
“Whoever wins gets to ask for whatever they want from the other person,” Lance spoke slowly, taking a careful step towards his rival. “Within reason, of course.”

Even though he had never seen the hot guy before in the year that he'd been going to college, it was like the dam had broken, because Lance saw him everywhere. From the sculpture rooms, to the library, to the cafeteria, the guy was everywhere Lance was, and it only made it that much harder to ignore the hot buzzing he felt inside every time he saw him.
