    Summary

"The crown suits you, you know," said Ser Duncan, over the cacophony of the feast. "Makes you look... you know. Kingly. Which I suppose makes sense, given that you're the king now." A look of anguish crossed his face. "Oh, lord, I shouldn't just be calling you 'you,' should I? It's 'Your Grace.' Please don't take—"

Baelor resisted the urge to rest his hand against the lad's back, as one might soothe a skittish horse. "No offense was taken, ser."

"Thank you," Ser Duncan said, then immediately amended, "Thank Your Grace...ness. Oh, seven fucks, I'm getting another drink." And he whirled away into the throng before Baelor could say a word.

    Summary

Most of Egg’s ever compounding problems are related to those stupid, giant, flying, fire lizards of the past, or, more specifically the fact that they’ve gone extinct.

Most of Dunk’s problems are related to worrying about Egg slowly losing it, so, when he hears his best friend’s weird psychic brother sleep talking of a woman who knows a way to prevent the catalyst to the extinction of dragons he does what any good knight would do:

He allows a time witch to send him 100 years into the past to prevent a war by… babysitting a bunch of questionably behaved teenagers in hopes of imparting some morals onto them.

Or: Ser Duncan the tall prevents the dragons from dancing and subsequently Egg’s death at Summerhall by time travelling to give the people who started it medieval family therapy.

    Summary

Zorian Kazinski is the third son of a minor merchant house, yet everyone knows that's not quite right. His enemies have eyes everywhere, and while he doesn't fear for his own life he may end up ruining everyone else's if he isn't careful. Yet in order to learn how to keep things from spiraling out of control, Zorian will have to do the most difficult thing he's done yet: admit that his parents might have been right about some stuff.

    ---

I thought the ending was a little abrupt and didn't resolve enough of the character arcs, so I started imagining how things would develop for some of the more interesting minor characters. One thing led to another and now I've got this fic in my head.

Zorian has always been accused of having sinister vibes. Which are completely unfounded mind you! He's just a scheming mind mage that doesn't let rules and norms stop him from achieving his goals (which are usually good).

Now you can imagine spandexed vigilantes not doing well to respond to such nuance.

    Summary

Peter wasn’t going to let May pay the rent all on her own. Not when there was two of them, not when being Spider-Man made everything that much harder.

And if that meant washing scratched up dishes and scrubbing old blood from the tile grout at Sister Margaret’s School for Wayward Girls, then so be it.

But then one night, his skin turned blue.

(If only his problems didn’t multiply from there.)
