Summary
Dan Heng never voiced his discomfort with stepping onto the Luofu, so he ended up on the team. Split up from his companions, he chances to run into a gaudily-dressed stranger at a stall.
"Oh? Did I have a meeting scheduled today? I’ve been so forgetful lately," The man's eyes surveyed him, head to toe, easy smile playing at his lips the entire time. Dan Heng felt a tingling on the back of his neck, a tightening in his chest. Something like joy was threatening to mix with something like yearning, and the mixture of waters so unlike in his already unsteady heart caused him to gasp for breath.
(Chapter 1 deals with the coincidental meeting, Chapter 2 with the confession)
