Summary
“I don’t know why the fuck you had to keep your stash in my bag,” he snarls out after a heady moment. “They think I helped you, fucking...” overdose? Kent’s shaking. His adrenaline has nowhere to go and he hates it and he won’t look anywhere but the floor. "It’s a good thing that’s the only shit they found. They might hold me from the draft, if they find anything else - incriminating.” He laughs, cruelly. “Nobody's ever OD’d on pills like this in the League before. They don’t know what to do with it.”
OR: Within two weeks, Jack overdoses, drops out of the draft, and pushes Kent of out his life. Within two weeks, Kent says a lot of things that he means to his best friend in a way he regrets, becomes a Las Vegas Ace, and starts on the long process of moving on. In between, Kent remembers that things weren't always like this - they used to be good together.

The words that bloom on Katsuki’s arm are painfully familiar, to the point that he can hear the grating, wobbly voice saying them in his ear. They’re specific in a damning way, but at the same time vague enough that it could be someone else who says them. Someone he still has to meet in a situation that hasn’t yet occurred.

Summary
Before pro heros grew to be embraced by society and government, vigilantism and human rights wars took center stage. Bakugou Katsuki, age twenty-one, runs around under the name Ground Zero with a handful of friends, fighting against quirk users that use their power for personal gain. Problem is, the police and the public hate vigilante quirk users just as much as they hate actual villains.
The war against all quirk users rages on, pushing the brave souls that stand up and fight to hide their identities, a minority within a minority. The tide-turners that eat fear for breakfast, and Midoriya couldn't be more starstruck. Inspired and aspiring to become a police officer himself, he pushes himself through school by working at a cafe with his friends.
Unbeknownst to him, his favorite vigilante is also his favorite customer.
