Tommy’s ears were ringing at this point, he shouted and cursed at Technoblade’s retreating form. He begged and pleaded for him to turn around and come back, to not abandon him. He was still begging as he was dragged backwards, far away from Techno, and far, far away from freedom.
All that was left was a trail of blood soon covered by winter snow.

“You didn’t get my coffee,” his dad says, halfway through his burrito. He has been in a state of low, simmering irritation all evening, and apparently this is how long it took for him to find a reason to blame Peter for it.
“You didn’t tell me to get coffee.”
“Do you have eyes?”
“Yes,” Peter says. “I have eyes.”
“So you could have checked if we needed coffee without me telling you every little thing, Jesus Christ.”

“Will I see you around, Madeline?” Wally calls after her.
“I don’t know, maybe?” She whirls back around to stop the door from fully closing. “It’s actually Madison, if you care.” She doesn’t know why he would, but she wants him to know her correct full name. For some reason.
He grins, as if they’re both in on a joke. “Right, Madison. And I’m Jeff, short for Jefferson.”
She squints. “Huh?”
Wally backpedals, flustered. “Sorry, I thought you were joking around, ‘cause Madison is like, a last name.”
This is really throwing her for one final loop. “Well… it’s my first name.”
“Oh. Rad. Respect. Never heard of that before.”

Summary
In Jason’s defense, how was he supposed to know that the very expensive looking car he was jacking the tires from belonged to Mob Boss Bruce Wayne? It’s not like it was his fault! It was Wayne’s fault for leaving the tires out in the open to be stolen. Wayne later uses this same logic to say it’s not his fault Jason was just out in the open to be adopted.
