Summary
Viktor doesn’t know why, or what it was exactly that makes him so closed off this time of year. It seems to get worse each year. He used to find himself dreading his birthday, now it seems he dreads the entire month as a whole. Maybe he has Seasonal Affective Disorder, he doesn’t know. Yuuri used to make it better. He’d hold Viktor close and whisper to him that everything would be okay, and I’m here, I love you. He hasn’t done that this year. Not that Viktor blames him, it’s his fault really and Yuuri always does what he can. No matter how rocky their relationship has become, Yuuri still tries.
