Summary
The sky is tainted. That gigantic field of space, so full of waste. Filled with poisonous gases and a large cloud of hatred, of fear, of pain, of disgust, growing and growing and growing. That disgusting, putrid cloud, invading people’s lungs, fueling the fire inside, keeping the smoke of emotion pouring from their bodies, pouring out of their eyes, nose, mouth, and ears, adding to the cloud, and all the while burning, burning, burning. For some, this fire is so strong it destroys them, killing them slowly from the inside as society feeds the flames, shoving the wood of discrimination through their stomach and forcing the coals of hatred and disgust down their throats. Humanity is so, so, broken. Everyone is broken.

Summary

It tells him to grab an umbrella and that afternoon it rains unexpectedly. It tells him to bring cash and it turns out the card reader is out of order.
His quirk tells him to rob a bank.
Well, why not?

There’s a beat of hesitation, but Evan lets go of the red metal and looks headlong into the ground awaiting him.
All is calm, and he takes a step.
“What the fuck.” The stillness of the night is shattered to pieces, and Evan scrambles desperately to take hold of the bridge again. The loss of the silence brings about the loss of control, and within moments he’s hyperventilating, hands sweating and heart racing.
Evan glances over his shoulder and in the darkness can make out a slight, tall figure standing at the very edge of the treeline.
“I-I’m sorry?” Evan chances in response, eyes on the person as they step forward.
And, well. Of all the people he expected to see tonight, Connor Murphy was not one of them.

“Wait.” Sethos grabbed Wanderer’s sleeve before the other could get away. “One thing before you go.” He stood, holding onto Wanderer’s forearm for support as he pulled himself upright. When Sethos let his hand linger, neither mentioned it.

Gathering his courage, Sethos fixed his attention on Wanderer. “I like you,” he said. “And I would like to see you again.”
Wanderer raised an eyebrow. “You will.”
