“Do you actually have a place to live?”
Dennis has never been a good liar, and Jack Abbot’s unrelenting stare might as well be a polygraph test.
“I’m currently between places,” he admits.
Abbot works his jaw, head tilting to the side as he continues to assess Dennis like he’s a patient in his ED.
“Do you own a car?” He asks, his voice sounding softer to Dennis but maybe it's just dampened by the sound of his own pulse in his ears.
“Not at the moment, no, I’m actually-”
“Between cars?” Abbot finishes for him.
Shame pushes Dennis’s head down. “Yeah, something like that.”
Abbot continues to stare at him -does this guy ever blink?- before he sighs and shakes his head.
"Alright, pack your shit," He orders, clearly having heard enough.

Summary
He repeats it a few times, scratches his neck, slaps himself again, and then falls into his bed. He groans at the way it bothers his bruised ribs, but he lays there in the pain, letting it cleanse him from his thoughts earlier.
Here, in the haze of his pain, he is whole, normal, pure. He is repenting, paying his dues, accepting his punishment. He doesn’t need his pa for that, he can do it himself, make sure he’s not some dirty gay.
Gary hasn’t believed in God in a very long time; in fact, he’s certain there isn’t one. But there has to be some truths in the world, and this has to be one of them.
Gary Barkovitch is normal. And if he isn’t, he’ll break himself until his bones set right.

Summary
It’s not like Hannibal didn’t know that Will was hiding something. It was after the third body drop a week ago that it became clear that Will had a secret that somehow involved the case, one he wasn’t willing to share yet, not even with Hannibal.
At 6:43 AM, Will had texted Hannibal that a fourth body had been found and that he was on his way to the scene with Jack.
At 8:06 PM, Will had stepped into Hannibal’s office, thirty-six minutes past his appointment time, and practically shouted “I used to be a stripper!” as loudly as his hoarse voice would allow him to.
Hannibal Lecter, though not phased by much in life, has never been entirely able to predict Will Graham, but this is just… getting out of control.

“A good Samaritan?” She snorted delicately and stroked his hand, his previous precarious position forgotten.
“Something like that,” she replied, her expression softening to something close to reverence. “He saw you stumble on the way to the restroom; saw your date enter and neither of you returned. So he entered and found him trying to coerce you into opening the door, but you were arguing. Slurred words, almost unconscious, but you wouldn’t open the door. He subdued your attacker and managed to get the door open in time to catch you.”OR
Will tries to get back into dating, only to end up with the worst kind of man it's possible to find. When he's drugged in a bar, he's saved by someone completely unexpected. From the worst situation, he may get exactly what he's looking for.
