Summary
The love triangle with Tobias ended, and Mike and Will just celebrated their six month anniversary. Life is good.
Until Venca comes back, and starts possessing Will at random times, making him act out of character, making him sabotage his relationship with Mike. Because if Will doesn’t have Mike, Vecna can take him.
And the worst part is, Mike is starting to believe it.

Something darkens on Mike’s face, twisting it into a shape Will’s never seen. “Get out.”

The thing is - Will is dying. He’s dying and he doesn’t care.
“I’m in love with him.”
He waits for two encouraging nods - not in the slightest surprised, as he reluctantly notes. Will wonders if there’s a chance that Mike doesn’t know. That he’s not aware how far gone and in love Will is, how he could give fifty reasons, if asked, why Mike should choose him. How he looks at the beautiful girls around - at El - bitterly questioning if they, too, would make Mike a painting. Like Will did.
“I’m in love with him and it’s killing me.”
