Apo lurched forward, swaying on their feet, and Scott, faster than she could see, stepped into the chicken pen and caught them.
He looked… worried, which was most likely the delirium talking.
Scott’s hands held tightly onto their shoulders, his nails digging in past the fabric of her coat and sleeves and into her skin. She winced in discomfort, and Scott lightened his grip, though there was no sign of guilt on his face.
“Eat.”
OR
Apo decides she can't keep starving herself and makes her way to the Castle to gorge herself on some of the livestock she knows they have. They can only hope they won't run into any vampires while she's there.

seven years late, but so SO glad i found this fic holyyyyy shit.
genuinely, i think, one of the best IT fics i've ever read. im SUCHHH a sucker for the losers having their own kind of eldritch magic (oh the shining, how i love thee), and also its just so so well written?? also i love the whole concept of richie having to be in a murder trial, cuz i never see that in post IT chapter 2 fics (that also include eddie living)
i havent read the other installments in this series yet, but i am SO excited to. as of now though, im under the impression that this specifically is the best written IT fic I have ever read and will ever read.
(funniest part of this fic was i missed the smut tags until halfway thru and decided to persevere anyway because the fic was that good (chronic smut hater lmao))

Richie felt his heart flutter in his chest, before asking, "How does that make sense?"
