Summary
When Dustin comes to Steve with a plan to travel back to the spring of 1986, the goal is clear: prevent Eddie from ever becoming involved in the fight against Vecna, and save him from his tragic demise.
But when Steve is caught in the crossfire, it becomes clear that Eddie’s doomed design is built into the fabric of time, and intertwined through past lives. If he wants to save Eddie’s life, he must save the lives before.

Summary
Gale is practical. He cooks their little party’s meals, he keeps track of their stocks, he marks their maps. He believes himself reasonable enough to reason, then, that he ought to take a liking to Astarion—because Astarion hangs off of Illy, as does Gale, and it would be most practical if they were all to simply hang off of eachother, no?
After all, according to his geometric studies, a triangle is quite a uniquely dependable structure.

In which Gale is a narrative fool blundering his way into romance, Astarion a prickly bastard intent on assuming the worst, and Illy is somewhere in the background watching chaos unfold.
