Summary
All Hallows' Eve, colloquially known as Halloween. A holiday created by retailers to boost consumption, which Liam had never been able to appreciate. All that ridiculous fuss with cheaply made plastic masks that made you almost suffocate, and screaming little kids who thought it was funny to smear other people's belongings. A day that blurs the lines between the supernatural and reality.
In Liam's puppy-like turquoise eyes, it was all utter nonsense! The senior high school student only believed in things his senses could perceive.
Like the irresistible scent that had been reaching his wrinkled little nose for days, a scent he simply couldn't identify. Or the faint, inconspicuous scratching at his bedroom window in the night, which instantly ceased when he turned his tousled blond hair towards it, searching for it, and finally, precisely what his wide-open, shimmering windows of the soul took in as, despite the subconscious screams, he pulled open the creaking front door with trembling, clumsy hands...

Summary
Beacon Hills. A rather inconspicuous small town with a population of around 30,000. Influenced by the sunny Californian climate, yet unusually green with a substantial forest region. A place where one might feel at home, were it not for one tiny detail that the outside world was never allowed to know about.
Superhuman creatures, magically attracted by the intense glow of the full moon. Teenagers believed to be innocent, with glowing eyes, sharp incisors, and murderous claws.
Yes, they have lived among us for centuries, and even though the accusation of killing everything and everyone has always been circulating, they are the ones who protect the weaker ones. This includes the resident pack of the true Alpha, Scott McCall, and his inexperienced Beta, Liam Dunbar, the protagonist of the whole thing.
The young wolf had just recovered from the last exhausting battle of the hunters when he was suddenly haunted by dreams. Dreams that seemed so real and reflected what the 17-year-old teenager simply didn't want to admit to himself. Having feelings for someone he was supposed to hate, but who was now so forbiddenly close to him.
Because there was something about the chimera that definitely didn't belong here... -

The tormented face, with his ice-blue eyes flashing every now and then, made Zayn's alarm bells ring. His best friend wildly struck his chest repeatedly, his complexion taking on a bluish tinge.

The full moon was weighing on him, making him snappier than he usually was during a full moon. He was a risk, one that his pack tried to contain but not Theo, the chimera wants him to feel free.

Summary
Taking place immediately after Season 6, Episode 20. Monroe and her international army of hunters remain at large, stalking from the shadows and hellbent on eradicating all supernatural creatures on earth.
Scott has finally got his pack back in one place and even more surprisingly; his entire pack. And that comes with tis own set of challenges.
Liam is fighting demons still. Hayden coming back was a huge plus, except by that point, Theo Raeken had already awakened whatever animal he'd been hiding inside, and Liam wondered if Hayden would forgive him if he ended up gay.
And Theo Raeken is, of course, on a dead set collision course with self growth. Unlike the blonde haired beta that haunts his narrative almost as much as Tara. Theo prefers to lie down and let the demons jump him like a gang initiation because he is an ace at not dealing with his issues til the self inflicted guilt evens out with the external pain.
All in all, it wasn't going to be an easy year. But none of them were alone. Some wondered if that was a bad thing.
