Jeon Jeongguk moves to Seoul from his small pack in the woods to give his daughter, Bora, a better life. He never thought he would leave the forest behind, and he definitely never thought his daughter's kindergarten teacher would be a vampire.
Bora thinks Park Jimin's fangs are "puppy teeth." Jeongguk thinks they are a problem.
But the more time he spends around Jimin, the harder it gets for him to remember what he's supposed to be afraid of.

“I’m home,” Namjoon calls. “Uh, Jimin? Why is the hallway wet?”
“Give me just a second.” He calls back. “My life’s ending. I’ll— I’ll clean it up after I’m done having my breakdown.”
“Uh, alright? Just… let me know if you need anything, I guess.”
After a while there’s a knock on his door. “Is it… is it cause you turned 27? As in one step closer to 30?”
“I just got a soulmate.”
Jimin says it too low for Namjoon to hear properly.
“You just what?”
“I just got a soulmate, hyung! I have a soulmate. I just got— fuck. I have a soulmate.”

There’s two things that Park Jimin can’t stand.
One is the fucking idealized concept of soulmates, that everyone else seems to be enamoured by, with their tattoos and instinctual PDA. The second is Jeon Jungkook, and the feeling seems mutual. To his horror, he gets both on his 27th birthday: Jungkook’s name on his skin in black, elegant ink. And Jungkook… seems very into the idea?
But Jimin has bigger problems, too busy trying to survive his life to give a fuck what the universe wants. In fact, both of them are standing at the edge of their own personal abyss. Will they learn to soften their edges so they can see if they fit together while at it? -
