Simply delightful – all the characters are really well depicted and true to their portrayal on the show, without any flanderising or character assassination. How had I not come across this gem on FF.net???

“Let’s not pretend that we’re friends,” Lady Delia said.
“Are you sure?” Alanna said, dryly. “We might have been able to convince someone, somewhere.”
“Perhaps a goal for the future,” Lady Delia said in a tone that matched Alanna’s. “We are not friends. But I believe that we have a common goal here."

Superbly done – the characterisation is particularly good – and delightfully self-contained while being suitably open-ended that the reader can imagine it going pretty much anywhere in the future. A gem.

Summary
We’d won. The adversary of the void had returned, and with the light of the stars we banished it back to whence it came. A victory brought about through a grand finale.
In the end, this life of ours was not a fairy tale. There was no ending. The adversary of the void was destroyed, and we returned to our lives. We enjoyed what we had. We mourned those that once were there. And we made peace with what was to come.
I did. Everyone did.
They slathered me with titles. Savior. Archmage. The One Who Bears The Stars. None mattered. My name is all that mattered.
I was a mere student once. A failure. A mage with no spells. A mage whose spell would always end with catastrophic explosions. A failure. Zero.
And so I lived. I lived alone, in a mansion that was given, followed by ghosts of those who once was. I would live. I would grieve. And as my eyes closed with age, I would make peace and be fulfilled.
Ah. What a life it was. What a journey I had gone through. All I gained. All I lost. In the end, against the flow of time, they were nothing but mere footnotes in this Pilgrimage we call Life.
My name was Louise. And I was happy to have lived.
…
But I did not expect to return.

Utter perfection 😙👌🏽 (at least so far (i.e., up, now, to Chapter 8 inclusive)): this is how ‘time travel fix-its’ and overpowered main protagonists (and their supporting love interests) should be done.
(If this site allowed you to “favourite” stories, I would definitely “favourite” this one.)

The whole thing starts when Victoria Dallon makes a coming out post, and Lisa just can't resist a chance to one-up her.

Utterly perfect for what it is, with all the canon characters featured being completely in character for early Worm canon – notwithstanding the entire story being told through text, forum posts and online article excerpts – although given that the absolute destruction wrought by Lisa is almost entirely undeserved, this one-shot should probably be regarded as a ‘guilty pleasure’. 😉
(This work is also notable because, for once in the Worm fandom, it's not Taylor who escalates out of all proportion to the perceived offence.)

Summary
“You know I've been trying to learn more about Muggle culture, cos I know it's, like, important to you that you keep in touch with your roots and all of that, isn't it, Herms? So, I got a subscription to Muggle Life Weekly—that's the magazine that Dad started writing a column for last summer—and I was just reading it, and it turns out today's a Muggle holiday.”
“Oh. That's interesting. Perhaps you could tell Harry and me all about it over dinner?”
Did Ron grimace when she mentioned Harry? “The thing is, Herms, I really have been listening, and I know you're concerned about drifting away from where you grew up and all that stuff, and I thought you might like to celebrate today just the way I'm sure you would have done at home.”
“I'm sorry, Ronald, but I haven't the faintest idea what holiday you're talking about.”
“Why, International Kiss a Ginger Day, of course!”
Oh, merciful heavens! Why does Ron think I'm interested in him? Does he not realise that watching him snog Lavender last year cured me of whatever tiny lingering attraction I might have felt? Not to mention all that awful drama when he broke up with her?

Bookmarker's Notes
If this site allowed you to "favourite" stories, this would unquestionably be one of my favourites. Short, sweet and perfectly formed: a joy.
(I am a bit confused by why it has a "Mature" rating since, IMHO, there isn't anything here that merits it - there's nothing sexually explicit or that would be out of place in the average modern story aimed at teenagers (a.k.a. "young adults"); well, if such fiction were more prone than it generally is to exploring relationships other than [want-to-be-]monogamous boy-girl ones.)
