As he struggles to find a new normal he can live with, Steve finds himself befriending a bunch of kids and maybe (definitely) falling in love with a local weed dealer.

Billy Hargrove and Eddie Munson are trouble separately, but together they pose an even greater mystery. One that Steve doesn't even want to begin to solve. So why can't Steve just tell them to fuck off, and why is he leading them to the break-room to "talk", and why are they looking at him like he's gone and hung the moon and painted the stars?-or-
Billy and Eddie are weak and Steve is the most delectable thing on the menu. And also there's time travel.

“He wasn’t flirting with me, Robin. He was being nice. We’re neighbors.” Steve attempted to walk back towards his office, but Robin boxed him in. “Denial isn’t a good look on you, Steve.”
Or; Steve owns a quaint little shop downtown. His new neighbor, the owner of a Tattoo parlor, is stupidly distracting. And infuriatingly attractive.

In November 1984, Eddie Munson makes a late-night run to the only 24-hour diner in the area surrounding Hawkins. He expects a few truckers, maybe another night owl like him. What he doesn't expect is to run into Steve Harrington, looking beat to shit and in desperate need of a cigarette (or three). He doesn't expect to keep running into him in that same diner, always in the dead of night. Doesn't expect something like friendship to form between them.
July of 1985, Steve invites Eddie to follow him home. And who is he to say no? Hell, he'll take whatever he can get. ('Whatever' ends up being a package deal of sex, emotions, pancakes, and maybe something more).
