Summary
At first, Shadow thought it was just an in-joke. What else was he supposed to think? That Sonic could actually be helpful with legal matters?
He gets to see how wrong he was when Sonic learns about the inhumane treatment Shadow receives from GUN and decides to fight for his freedom.
The problem is Sonic’s “solution” is about replacing one binding contract with another, thus leading the two of them to end up married, which would already be draining on its own. But considering Shadow has a crush on Sonic, a fact he's unaware of, things get even more complicated. -

Summary
It's a fact that Shadow and Sonic are rivals. Red and blue, sun and moon. They were true opposites, and that was just the push and pull of their relationship. But when a chain of events lead to everybody thinking they're dating instead of actively trying to kill each other, the two (one begrudgingly, the other enthusiastically) decide that playing along is in their best interest.
Or; Sonic and Shadow end up roped up into a fake-dating relationship to avoid their friends, but get more than just a headache along the way.

His assailant leaps at him while he's distracted. Izuku shoves him on instinct, and the stranger shrieks when he hits the ground. He tries to roll over. There’s a vegetable knife sticking out of his back.
“Fuck,” says Izuku. “Fuck, oh god, I killed someone.”
(Izuku does have a quirk - it's the power to see when someone has unhealthy attachment issues and obsessive tendencies. That would explain why some of his classmates seem a little off.
Except Kacchan, probably. Kacchan's always been dangerous.)

Alternate Bad Ending For Sonic Forces, leading into Sonic being isekaied into a new world via Paradox Prism. Tags subject to change (ADHD)
Everything is gone. Everything is burning and crashing down around him. Every life snuffed out in an instant, thanks to a miscalculation on Doctor Robotnik's new "Mind Beam". Everyone Sonic ever knew, ever met, ever loved, and everyone he hadn't, all gone. Even Shadow passed after giving the last of his life force, his chaos energy, to Sonic, in a last ditch effort to turn the tide of war. Oh, and how pointless it was, in the end.
On a burning planet, the only two living souls left were Doctor Robotnik and Sonic. One a madman, the other a hero, defeated.
With perhaps an ounce of remorse, the Doctor sends Sonic somewhere else. Somewhere he can start anew. Somewhere he'll have a second chance to save lives, even if many of them bore the faces of his lost loved ones.
Somewhere that already has a Sonic. One who cares for no one but himself. One who puts his own world at risk.
A story of healing, trust, family, pain, romance, and justice.
