Sky woke gasping for breath, frantically looking around the room for his attackers, for Gun. The panic slowly receded as he became aware that he was in his room. There was no Gun; he wasn’t being held down by Gun’s friends; it was just him, alone in his room. It was just another nightmare.
“Why did I dream about that time again?” He sobbed as he brushed the tears from his eyes, “When will I forget this fucking nightmare?”
Shaking, tears streaming from his eyes, Sky sat up at the sound of the wind howling outside. He was terrified that they would show up any moment and his dream would become real again.
Reaching for his phone, hands shaking, he dialed the only person he wanted most in this moment. The only person he wanted to have wrap his arms around him. The only person who made him feel safe. The only person who could chase the nightmares away. Prapai.
My take on what might have happened between Prapai and Sky after Sky had his nightmare and called Prapai to come back from the races.

Summary
Two months ago, Captain Alan brought him in his office and told Kim he had to learn to be a team player. Kim thought it was absurd. He didn't get to be the department's top detective by holding hands or singing kumbaya. He got here by solving cases. Fast. Clean. Efficient. He didn't need a partner, really. He was the unit. No one could deny his clearance numbers which is why Kim figured they were arguing with his social graces instead.
"Captain," argued Kim, "Partners will only slow me down."
"You're not being judged on speed," Alan said, voice level. "You're being judged on whether you can lead."
"This is going to waste time—"
"It's Kenta," muttered the man, from under his heavy brows. He stood beside the desk. He hadn't spoken a word once since being introduced. He wore black from the collar down and hadn't even looked up once.
Kim blinked, "Pardon?"
The man met his gaze at last. Eyes dark and flat. "My name is Kenta. At least use it when you don't want me."
It wasn't the warmest beginning.

Summary
Kenta arrived at university with a plan: keep his head down, ace his classes and maybe finally figure out who he wants to be. Falling for his roommate wasn’t part of that plan-- especially not someone like Kim: confident, unpredictable and always just a little too close.
But between crowded libraries, late-night study sessions, club nights gone sideways and quiet mornings after, Kenta starts to change. He learns how to laugh louder, argue harder, and want more for himself.

Summary
The man took a seat by the window, setting his coat to dry over the back of the chair. He opened a book, pages lit by the soft glow of the hanging lamp, while outside the rain traced restless rivers down the glass.
Kenta tried not to notice how natural he looked there, like he’d always belonged in that corner.
It was just another customer, he told himself. Just coffee.
Still, when the bell chimed again for someone else, he glanced back at the man by the window, almost expecting him to disappear with the sound. But he didn’t. He just sipped the coffee, calm and steady, as though the storm was nothing at all.
