He’s been here a million times before, sharing tea, wine, and other fine delicacies. He’s mapped out all the exits and found the most efficient escape routes the first time he was here, but found long ago that there was no real need for that. All is well; he’s safe here. Until Zhongli puts his hand up his shirt and he jolts in surprise.
Childe finds out he's ticklish. Childe tries to resolve the problem so Zhongli can touch him. Fluff ensues.

“Well, to be abrupt,” Baizhu begins, leaving Childe confused as to why Baizhu asked if he already knew the answer. “Your Qi energies are not moving around sufficiently, they are being blocked and slowed down. I’m surprised you weren’t aware.”
“We don’t have terms like that in Snezhnaya I’m afraid, so could you dumb it down for me?” Childe sighs, sinking back into the soft pillows.
“You aren’t eating enough, Master Childe.” Baizhu clarifies, lips pulled into a tight smile.
No one can blame Childe for laughing. The idea that a Harbinger could be taken down from not eating enough was absurd. He looks back up to Baizhu, expecting for this whole thing to be a joke but he is just met with a concerned gaze.

Childe heaves a sigh of relief. The Tsaritsa wasn't mad at him. That was good.
“You may spend your leave wherever you like,” the Tsaritsa adds, a teasing touch in the inflection of her words. Perhaps it’s the fact that he’s been mortally wounded, but Childe almost thinks he sees warmth in the Tsaritsa’s cold eyes.
Childe perks up at this. His body somehow finds the energy to go red. He closes his eyes and thinks of a golden place full of light and warmth and everything nice in the world. A certain man made wise with time, who he has been aching to see. He’d hold his hand if he were here now, or even curl up next to him, pressing a light kiss on his nose. All Childe wants is to return to his side.
His mind is made. A smile, light yet full of love, adorns his face.
“I’d like to go to Liyue.”
Or, the aftermath of the Fontaine Archon quest, in which Childe goes back to Liyue and elegantly collapses into Zhongli's arms.

Now that he has completed a successful journey back to Snezhnaya, it was only right that all the other Neshchadymenko children followed suit, including the eldest, Tesey.
The eldest few have long gone their separate ways: some stayed in Morepesok, some left, but all were haunted by Ajax’s disappearance and reemergence all those years ago. But it seems that they must all reunite at last again, and time will only tell how much things have truly changed...
