Summary

“Jimin?”
Namjoon’s voice sounds sweet—confused, yes, a little—but still sweet. Yet his hands are still on his date, and something, probably common sense, reminds him that he's there as an intruder, rather than a guest.
"Hi, hyung. Can you come with me for a sec? I need to talk to you.”
Jimin's heart beats fast as Namjoon takes a decision: He has been caught in the crossfire between Jimin's death glare and the other guy's confusion, and is hesitant to pick a side. In the end, he excuses himself with his date before following Jimin to a less crowded corner of the club.

Kim Seokjin is going to die on Christmas Day. In this Life and too many of the others.
It’s never been on purpose (except maybe that one time in 422AD, as part of a ritual sacrifice, but the dates are always dubious that far back), it’s just always been his luck. Christmases, according to his painstakingly collected dream journals, have been littered with accidents, wars, murders. A ricocheted arrow in a Roman battle. Spoiled meat at an Inuit feast. A mad King in a German castle with a penchant for knife-throwing (at his own court jester, what a prick). All good reasons to avoid the holiday, Seokjin’s soul guiding him through incorporeal-muscle-memory.
Which he doesn’t, because Christmas is his favourite holiday of the year.
