Summary
When the Avengers stumble upon Peter Parker, he is not a fifteen year old, bubbly, nerdy high school student. He is eighteen, homeless, and a drug addict.
Peter refuses to let them discover the squalor he lives in when the mask is off, refuses to ruin their perfect little makeshift family with all his dirt, refuses to get too close.
Unfortunately, he doesn't really have a choice.

Tony closed his eyes, let out a long breath, and stood up from where he had been hunched over his bench. “What is your name?”
“I’m not sure. I’ll have to get back to you on that.”
Tony felt his body lock up. “FRIDAY-”
“Yes, boss?”
“Is there anyone in this lab?” He kept his voice calm.
“Other than you? No.”
