Will blinks. “I am having fun.”
She hums. “I meant like—fun fun.” She gestures vaguely with her cigarette toward the door, the faceless crowd beyond it. “You’re single. Hot—thanks to El and me,” she squeezes the girl tucked under her arm, eyes briefly flicking to his eyeliner. “Just saying.”
El giggles from her place, “Max….”
“What?” Max shrugs. “I’m encouraging him.”
Will gets dragged to the club. He's not responsible for whatever happens next. -
