    Summary

    Will Byers loves Mike Wheeler.

It shouldn’t be a big deal. Of course he loves Mike. He always has. But it’s never felt like this. It’s never hurt to think about it, but it also never felt like a revelation rather than a fact. It hurts, and there’s nothing he can do to ease the pain. He looks across the room at Mike and all he sees is beauty where minutes ago he only saw his best friend. He notices entire constellations in the freckles strewn across his nose, stars glittering in his eyes, and it all seems inevitable. He loves Mike. He loves him and it’s a foregone conclusion, a wish on a shooting star destined to burn out. He loves him and he can’t ever have him, not in that way, and there’s nothing in the world that can ever hurt him again quite like this.

OR: When the party dares Mike to tell someone he loves them for one hundred days, Will doesn't expect to be the unlucky recipient. He definitely doesn't expect it to consume his last three months in Hawkins. But like most things in his life, absolutely nothing goes to plan.

The confession scene is so beautifully written. I love the premise and how it extends and adds to the show in a satisfying way. I accept this as canon.

    Summary

Steve doesn’t think anything of it, the first time. He’s sitting in the boathouse with Munson, waiting for something to happen. He refuses to think about it as hanging out or anything. It’s not like they really know each other.

Or, the one where Eddie won't stop saying "as you wish". It doesn't make things any easier for Steve to figure out.

A premise that is just so THEM. I love the dialogue between all the characters and really appreciate that this fills the void that was left by season 4 (and also probably season 5). I think this is a fun time. Eddie's vampirism is a feature but it's not what the whole fic is about, which is a refreshing and welcome change.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Fantastic story. It is rare to read something from this pairing and this universe that has a really well-written sci-fi plot and expands and alters the canon in a way that feels natural and true to the characters and the spirit of Star Trek.

    Summary

When two lines, inclined towards each other, are extended indefinitely, it is inevitable that they meet. Upon meeting, the lines become something new. Together. Perhaps it’s been like that from the beginning for Sherlock and John—their lives weaving together, inclined towards one another, moving closer and closer to something greater than themselves.

But that’s all a bit romantic, isn’t it?

On another topic, Sherlock and John find themselves faced with a series of seemingly disparate cases that are growing increasingly connected, increasingly personal. They must unravel the mystery laid before them by a particularly ruthless set of criminals before the danger is upon them, or else run the risk of being cleaved apart forever, lines scattered to the wind.

    Bookmarker's Notes

This is genuinely one of the best fics I have read in this fandom and pairing over the years. I can't believe how quickly I read this (it's almost the same word count as all three Hunger Games books combined). This author uses the point of views and weaves this story well. Changes in perspectives and time from chapter to chapter can sometimes be tedious or confusing but the way this was done lead to a satisfying slow burn of the character's relationships when they were kept apart, and everything was pieced together wonderfully.

An intertwined past, present, and future. A truly well written mystery plot, a beautiful years-spanning romance and a gripping thriller all at once.
