Only God should have the power to be in all places at all times.
Those are the words Beatrice’s adoptive mother and head of the ancient society known as the Paladins, created in mediaeval times to eradicate Jumpers, Suzanne Cox, has told her her whole life.
But what are Jumpers?
To put it in her adoptive mother’s words. They’re abominations. Sinful creatures who can teleport to any place there mind can remember. They warp the space around them to create wormholes from one location to another called 'jumpscars'. They can teleport people, cars, and buildings, though the latter of those normally results in a Jumper's death. Something Beatrice has become adept at making Jumpers be over her life.
And the next Jumper, Ava, in Beatrice’s sights is no different.

“Wait what?!” they all shout in unison.
“Not enough betas or omegas signed up.”
Ava scoffs, snatching the board from her grasp to read the announcement. “What, so they just cut us?”
“They can’t do that!” Chanel argues next her side.
And her tall, beautiful friend was right. The school had no right to cut their soccer team.
Ava squares her jaw before growling, “This is not over.”

This is my best attempt at a season 3 fic. It's multi-POV, canon compliant (mostly), and inspired by Simon Barry's interviews about where the story could go. I also wanted it to feel as much like the show as I could manage and intend for the chapters to read like "episodes." In a better world, we would be watching season 4+ already, but alas. "You need to move on," Camila said, her tone more gentle than Lilith's, offering a different perspective. "Find a new place, a new… everything. Start fresh. Get a cat. Or a plant. Something to take care of that isn't your broken heart."
