Hating someone is easy.
It's easy to pick out all the little traits, all the small parts of someone that grate your nerves raw. It's so much easier than asking yourself why, asking yourself why you think about her day and night, why you can't get her to stop annoying you even when she's not around. So you hate. You tell yourself that you hate her so that you don't have to face the real reason why she won't leave your head. Your face is flushing because you're mad. Your heart is racing because you can't stand her. You hate her.
Because it's easier that way.
