“I don’t want to tell you what to do, and I’d be happy to, like, move my stuff to the basement if I’m in your space - just until I figure out what to do, y’know? And then I can get out of you and Camila’s hair, once I figure out where to go-”
“Vee,” Luz says, her voice firm despite its whisper tone. Vee realizes she’s blushing, face burning with shame. “Vee, did you think we were going to kick you out or something?”

After Luz comes back from saving the demon realm, her and Vee have a late night heart-to-heart. Luck, fate, and family have something to do with it.
