    Summary

When Derek thought about time travel – and he did, a lot – this was not what he'd had in mind. He'd thought he would see his younger self, tell him to leave Paige alone and NEVER trust Kate Argent. He'd thought he’d get to come back once that was done and everything would be perfect. He never imagined having to relive his entire life.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Time travel-de aging fic from Derek's POV. A witch's curse that makes people right prior wrongs causes Derek to time travel 24 years back to his birth and relive his life all over again. The writing of Derek's age-appropriate voice with touches of humor and feels and personal growth is magnificent. So monumental and incredibly well done. It does get a bit rushed at the end and the bit with Gerard too fantastical, but ambitious and deserves the kudos)

    [excerpt]:
The witch was supposed to be easy to deal with. She wasn’t hurting anyone really, but the sheriff was starting to be concerned about all the "odd" events going on; a cheating husband being incapable – literally – of putting pants on; an evil boss handing himself over for fraud and then denying it; school bullies becoming their victim’s slaves, willingly. All those things could have been considered justified, but people were asking questions so John had asked Derek and his pack to look into it.

A few days later, they finally found the witch. They tried to talk to her but Derek, being … well, Derek, managed to piss her off rather quickly. He never saw it coming, and before he knew it, everything was black.

Stiles thinks if Peter had never happened. If Peter hadn’t forced Stiles down onto the earth and pinned him there. But Peter had happened. And all he and Derek had left was a single kiss.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Sterek The Lovely Bones AU. It’s done so movingly, so very terribly and beautifully, and I can’t think of how it could be written better. Stiles’ voice is perfection—all hope and outrage and youthful indignation and brilliance, along with the sadness of a life lost. Nothing contrived, just pitch-perfect storytelling.

    [excerpt]:
If Peter hadn’t held Stiles down as he cried and struggled against the oppressive weight of the man’s hands and body, as Peter slowly slid his hands down past the band of Stiles’ boxers and bared him to the world. If Peter had stopped tearing Stiles apart from the inside with his fingers and later his brutal cock, lancing pain and sick sick pleasure up and down Stiles, racking sobs and shivers, painful gasps and moans from him like he was wrangling a bird for its final song.

If Peter had just never happened.

Stiles think he would have had all the things Peter did to him with Derek.

With Derek it would have been the most sweetest romantic sentimental thing he did for their first time. They would have gone to the woods under the stars, probably on a patch of mildewy but soft grass that they always like to roll in after they tired from practising lacrosse. Derek’s touch would have been true reverence, not like Peter’s perverse worship.

It would have been the most goddamn perfect thing in the world.

    But Peter had happened.

There is going to be nothing more with Derek. Peter has wrecked him, and then made sure no one else could have him.

All they had (all Stiles had) now is a single stolen kiss.

    Summary

Harry Potter seems to have it all: the perfect marriage, the perfect job, and the perfect life.

    Only Draco knows the truth.

    [excerpt]:
    “Things happen for a reason.”

“And what would be the reason for following me into an unoccupied loo in the midst of your own celebration?”

Harry laughs. “Perhaps it’s because I miss your sparkling wit and sarcasm.”

Draco arches a brow. He moves closer, taking pleasure in the way Harry’s eyes darken, their green rims thinning with his desire. “We both know it’s not conversation that you’re after, don’t we Potter?”

    Bookmarker's Notes

This is AMAZING. Cailynwrites' narration is so clear, the cadence is perfect, while tension, humor and softness are mixed in the perfect proportions. Draco's read is particularly noteworthy; it contains all the things I love about him--his poshness and his snark, but also his vulnerability. Listening to this was like experiencing the story for the first time. I sometimes wondered whether a part II was warranted; but the desperate and bittersweet notes that came through in the end reassured me that this is how it should be. Really grateful <333

    Bookmarker's Notes

Stiles and Derek are separately captured by the Argents for nefarious reasons and locked in a cabin together. Chapter 3 is the aftermath post rescue and trying to heal. Communication with letters and hot smut and tons of angst and feels. It’s DevilDoll so it’s brilliant, as always.

    [excerpt]:
Stiles' best friend was a werewolf. Some of his favorite clients were werewolves. Stiles knew damn well what a pissed-off wolf sounded like, and every hair on the back of his neck was telling him that somewhere in this room was a very pissed-off werewolf.

He took a deep breath, willing himself to calm the fuck down even as his already queasy stomach pitched and rolled in reaction to this unwelcome development. Ever so slowly, he turned his head in the direction of the growl, which ratcheted up a notch as soon as Stiles moved. The wolf was almost directly behind him, so Stiles had to nearly pull an Exorcist move to lay eyes on it, and then he immediately wished he hadn't. Staring out at him from the deeper dark of what appeared to be a doorway were two red, glowing eyes.

An alpha. Son of a bitch.

It was instinct that made him uselessly flex his hands, try to summon a protective spell, before he remembered what they'd done to him. He felt the familiar hollowness in his belly as his body made room for the magic to uncurl, the tingle under his breastbone when the rune tattooed there tried to flare to life, and then…nothing. The tingle faded away as quickly as it appeared, his stomach clenched down on itself as the nausea made a comeback, and he opened his perfectly ordinary fingers, from which no power flowed.

They'd taken away his magic and thrown him in a room with an alpha werewolf, who sounded decidedly not-friendly. And it was maybe just his imagination, but it looked like the wolf, who hadn't stopped growling, was moving closer.

    Summary

One of Stiles' favorite things about life is Derek Hale's food blog. He never expects to meet the man in person.

    ~

“Derek,” he says again, and the name feels very strange on his tongue. “You don’t mean Derek Hale.”

His professor’s eyebrows reach up, eyes widening. “You read his blog?”

"Uh. Worship. Would be a better more descriptive word. That is Derek Hale?"

    Jimmy chuckles. "Good-looking guy, huh?"

"You mean to tell me the Food Network hasn't snatched him up to dethrone everyone else from daytime TV."

Jimmy smiles a small private smile. "I don't think TV is his medium."

    Stiles raises an eyebrow. "Shy?"

The man laughs heartily at that. "No, I wouldn't say that. He just has particular forms of expression, like eyebrows and chili powder."

    Bookmarker's Notes

Very sweet and romantic story with just a little angst that gets quickly resolved. Internet blogger/chef Derek (who happens to be deaf) has a literal run in with Stiles, one of his fans. S sweetly developing relationship that’s facilitated by Stiles’ professor/mutual friend

    [excerpt]:
He remembers when he’d found the famous food blog three years ago. He’d been a sophomore in college, stuffing his face with minute-rice and Cup o’ Noodles—he’d been filling his body with such terrible food that a rare salad was a joy. And then Stacy, mid-lecture, had leaned over and shoved her phone at him, showing a recipe for raspberry chocolate cake with layers of real fruit, decadent chocolate sauce, and raspberry drip.

    After that, he was hooked.

He followed Derek’s chicken recipes, made his shepherd’s pie, his pot pie, his apple pie—he has a whole page devoted to pies, actually.

Stiles had simply fallen head over heels in love with Derek’s food.
