Summary
Sukuna grins, his mouth stretched unnaturally wide across his face. “You really thought the King of Curses could be bound by human flesh?” He tips his head upwards, cackling, then throws Megumi aside. Megumi stumbles, falling backwards into the water. He hates that Sukuna is wearing his face, hates how it’s just wrong enough to make his skin crawl.
“I was biding my time,” he explains. “Anyone paying attention could tell the day you snapped was fast approaching, and you made it so easy for me to watch you.” He appears standing over Megumi, cruel glee shining in his expression. “If you’d been able to stay away from that brat, maybe your imminent destruction wouldn’t have been so glaringly obvious. But no. You fell in love with him.”
Megumi swallows thickly.
“Love is a curse, right?” Sukuna leans down, eyes boring into what is left of Megumi’s soul. “And yet, you could never avoid it.”
megumi's soul shatters, and the pieces are full of love.
