“That is the worst idea you’ve ever had,” Remus laughs as he places a wet plate in the drying rack next to the sink.
“No, you just weren’t listening,” James frowns, leaning back in his dining chair, legs crossed under the small breakfast table in Remus and Sirius’s kitchen.
“Oh, I was listening. You plan on marrying Regulus to prank Sirius. It wasn’t hard to understand what the idea is; it’s just stupid.”or; what happens when James and Regulus get fake married as a prank and Sirius retaliates by sending them to Mexico together for two weeks.

James’s fingers suddenly brush against his skin, touching the very top of Regulus’s spine.
“This,” James says, his touch featherlight as it ghosts over Regulus’s skin, making it tingle in the most peculiar way. “It’s a lovely tattoo. Almost like antlers. When did you get it?”
Regulus can’t speak.
This can’t be possible.
Of all people—why James Potter?

James Potter was pretty sure he had it all figured out. His face was on billboards, shampoo and razor ads, and life was basically golden. Romance? But one message turned into two, then ten, then late-night conversations and inside jokes. James wasn’t planning to fall for a stranger behind a screen... but then again, nothing about Regulus felt like a mistake.or,

Karma isn’t real. Destiny is a lie. Fate doesn’t exist. A higher power that guides people in life is the greatest bull crap to have ever been invented by humans who were just desperate to explain unexplainable things... Right?
Or, Regulus and James meet coincidentally at the airport as they are both travelling to London for Christmas not knowing they were invited by the same person.
